The purpose of the Agita Mundo Network is to promote physical activity as a healthy behaviour for people all around the world. The Agita Mundo Network stimulates research, encourages the dissemination of information on the health benefits of physical activity and effective strategies to increase physical activity, advocate for physical activity and health, and support the development of national and local programs and networks for physical activity promotion. APPAN
The Asia Pacific Physical Activity Network (APPAN) is an informal communication network, coordinated by the Cluster for Physical Activity and Health (CPAH) based at the University of Sydney. APPAN has around 200 individual members from 29 (of 49) countries. Membership is voluntary on the basis of an informal commitment to engage in network activities, for example, by exchanging ideas, experiences and information on physical activity, either actively or passively.
GAPA
The Global Advocacy for Physical Activity aims to increase commitment to physical activity and encourage governments and interested parties to develop, disseminate and implement national policies, programs, services and environments to support physical activity and health.
