GLOBAL EDUCATION WEEK: 1-4 April 2025
A very successful week of Global Education during pregnancy and postpartum was presented by various countries. The South African webinar included more than 70 attendees.

Sport and Health Capacity Development Initiative – Consultation Workshop 25 – 27 February 2025, Nairobi, Kenya

AFPAN contributed to a global initiative under the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the WHO and the IOC, the International Council of Sport Science and Physical Education (ICSSPE) and the University of the West Indies (UWI) as the leads.

The workshop was hosted at KCA University in Nairobi, Kenya, with Prof Vincent Onywera hosting delegates from all African regions.

This years International Festival of Sports, Exercise and Medicine Conference (2022) was held in the beautiful city of Pretoria, South Africa. Organised by SASMA, LTMIC, PASHDA and SASB this conference allowed for a large diversity of sports, exercise and medicine researchers and professionals to share knowledge and expertise creating opportunities for future collaborations all with the objective to further increase our knowledge of sports, exercise and medicine for healthier living and performance.
