The 4th International Conference on Physical Activity and Sports for Health and Development in Africa (IC-PASHDA) was jointly hosted during the International Festival of Sports Exercise & Medicine Conference in Pretoria, South Africa. After the COVID-19 lockdown, this was the sector’s first in-person conference.
The 3rd IC-PASHDA conference was hosted in 2018 in Accra, Ghana. Prof Reginald Ocancey served as the Chair of this conference at the University of Ghana.
The 2nd IC-PASHDA conference was hosted by Kenyatta University, Nairobi, in 2016.
The 1st IC-PASHDA conference was organised by Prof Antonio Prista and hosted in Maputo, Mozambique, 2014.
